DOT PEEN MARKING SYSTEM

The RPG Error-Proof Dot Peen Marking System is a reliable and cost effective method of permanently marking all types of metal components.  Typical uses include: 2-D barcodes, part numbers, serial numbers, VIN (Vehicle Identification Numbers), and other alphanumeric identification codes.  Our patented multi-function error proofing capability allows marking verification and traceability not available in other competitive systems.  In addition, we have 20 years of system integration experience that allows us to provide complete solutions to all your metal marking needs, from simple hand positioned systems to full line tracking automation.

THE BASIC SYSTEM

The marking system is a programmable impact marking device that utilizes multiple marking pins to produce 2-D barcodes and alphanumeric characters.  The base system consists of a modular marking head, PC based controls housed in an industrial grade enclosure, software and all interconnecting cables.

SOFTWARE

The Windows based software for RPG Marking Systems is user friendly and easy to troubleshoot. All programming and calibration functions are accomplished using a standard keyboard, and mouse.

  • Error proofing results displayed graphically with time, date, marked number, and rotation number

  •  Color-coded display indicates the status of each pin contact in the character string.

  • Last 4,000 mark records stored locally

  • Ethernet or RS-232 input capabilities

  • Marking Records can be transmitted to a database via Ethernet  

  • Audible alarms, e-mail notification possible for unsatisfactory cycles

  • Capable of being interfaced with plant floor error-proofing systems
